Statistics Poland Conference was held in Warsaw in the first days of July, 2026. Mateusz S\u0142omski from Statistics Poland represented our team and presented \u201cEstimating the Scale of Homelessness and Mortality Among People Experiencing Homelessness in Poland Based on Administrative Data.\u201d Thanks to Mateusz, we not only finally gained access to the data, but he also helped us identify cases of death and, consequently, calculate the final mortality rates. Our joint publication is currently under review. At the conference, Mateusz mainly presented his original algorithm, which he used to identify individuals whose PESEL numbers could be identified, as well as to estimate the probability of death based on other variables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
